(LAGRANGE) – A LaGrange man has been arrested for breaking a telephone pole.
On Monday at 7:16 AM, the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a hit and run accident at 5245 East 200 South.
The investigation determined that 39 year old David V. Miller of LaGrange had been driving a tractor and pulling a manure spreader. Miller’s tractor left the road and struck a telephone pole, breaking it in half and knocking out power to several surrounding homes. Miller did not remain at the scene.
Deputies located Miller a short time later and arrested him for leaving the scene of a property damage accident.
