(ANGOLA) – Maintenance has started on water service lines in Angola.
City officials say on Monday, the contractor they hired to hydro-excavate small areas at the curb boxes on water service lines around town started their work. The City will follow behind the contractor to identify the pipe material and then fill in the hole.
During this work, the public may see temporary parking restrictions along their street.
Work started near Trine University, south of West Maumee Street and will move east towards South Wayne Street.
The streets that will be worked on are: Saginaw Street; Woodward Avenue; Summit Street; South Kinney Street; Moss Street; Thunder Drive; Oakwood Street; College Street; South Darling Street and South Superior Street.
The other streets include: South West Street; South Elizabeth Street; Butler Street; Fox Street; Ettinger Street; West Felicity Street; West Pleasant Street; West Prospect Street; Park Avenue; West South Street and West Gale Street.
Updates to the working areas will be sent out as the project progresses. If anyone has questions, they can contact the Angola Water Department by calling 260-665-9363.
