(VOLINIA TOWNSHIP) – A two vehicle crash in Southern Michigan injured a Three Rivers man.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says 43 year old Jocylyn Vanfleeren of South Bend was heading north on Decatur Road in Volinia Township just after 6 PM Tuesday and failed to stop at the intersection of Marcellus Highway. She was struck by a westbound auto driven by 57 year old Charles Beard of Three Rivers.
Beard was taken by SMCAS Ambulance to Borgess Lee Memorial Hospital to be treated for non life threatening injuries. Vanfleeren was not injured. The Wayne Township Fire Department also assisted at the scene.
Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash.
