(DEKALB COUNTY) – One driver was injured in a two vehicle crash.
The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office says that 60 year old Roger Menges of Auburn was driving east on County Road 40 and stopped at the intersection of County Road 61. Menges says he was watching traffic go by when he entered the intersection and drove into the path of a northbound vehicle driven by 39 year old Lindsey Bledsoe of Spencerville.
The airbags in both vehicles activated in the collision.
There was a child in the back seat of Bledsoe’s vehicle in a child safety seat. Bledsoe and the child were transported to Parkview Regional Medical Center to be treated for minor injuries. Menges was not injured.
Assisting at the scene were the Butler Police and Fire Departments along with the Indiana State Police.
