(BRONSON) – It was a scary time for Bronson Community Schools students and staff Friday morning.
In a post on the District Facebook page, Bronson Superintendent Kate Wall announced that she had been contacted Friday morning of a social media post that referenced a threat to student and school safety. She says the post did not include the name of any specific school or district, but did include first names.
Wall says some Bronson students saw and shared the post, and reported concern for their district.
Wall went on to say that District administrators and law enforcement officers have investigated the situation, and determined that the post was not in reference to Bronson Community Schools students or facilities. She says they take all safety situations seriously and encourage students, parents and community members to report any and all threats to student safety to a staff member immediately, so that they can be investigated.
