Union City rallies to beat Bronson 36-8
(UNION CITY) – Bronson was up 8-6 at the end of the first half, but host Union City scored 30 unanswered points in the final two quarters of their Homecoming game to rally and beat the Vikings 36-8 in Big 8 Conference action. The Chargers outgained the Vikings 322 total yards to 191. Union City rushed for 280 yards on the night. After Union City scored in the first quarter, Bronson took the lead in the second quarter, thanks to a six yard touchdown run by Kamron Brackett. LINKC. He also had 3 receptions for 74 yards and was 2 of 2 in the air for 43 yards. Spencer Losinski threw for 151 yards while Benjamin Stevens had 5 grabs for 67 yards. Union City got three touchdowns from Brendan Labar, who rushed for 96 yards on 20 carries. Dylan McDonald had 20 carries for 141 yards and a score. Bronson is now 4-2 overall and 4-1 in the Big 8. Union City improves to 6-0 and 5-0 in the conference.
