(OAKLAND, MI) – The 2024 season came to an end for the Sturgis girls swim team at the Division 2 State Finals hosted by Oakland University. The 200 medley relay team of Kaylee Draper, Kenzy Triezenberg, Ainsley Gump and Emma Garbine finished 15th. The 400 freestyle relay team of Draper, Gump, Hannah Garbine and Emma Garbine came in 15th. Draper was also 24th in the 100 backstroke and 25th in the 200 freestyle. Gump finished 28th in the 50 freestyle and 33rd in the 100 freestyle. Emma Garbine was 34th in the 100 freestyle and 42nd in the 50 freestyle. Triezenberg came in 29th in the 100 breaststroke.
