(STURGIS) – The Sturgis Department of Public Safety has announced a new hiree and a promotion.
Director Ryan Banaszak says the Fire Division has hired Julian Alldredge to the position of full time Firefighter and EMT.
Alldredge is a Sturgis High School graduate and an original member of the Sturgis Public Safety Explorers Program. Most recently, he served in the on-call capacity as both a firefighter and EMT.
Banaszak says Alldredge is a great example of someone having a goal and working hard to achieve it.
In the Police Division Banaszak says Officer Josh Edgington has been promoted to Patrol Sergeant. Edgington has been with the Department since 2017.
