(ALBION) – A man facing drug charges has had his trial date moved out.
Noble County Circuit Court online records say 23 year old Mark Boger Jr. of Garrett, was scheduled to go to trial in February on a Level 3 meth possession charge. However, it has been rescheduled now for May 8 and 9.
On October 28, 2022, the Ligonier Police Department was sent to Boger’s Water Street apartment to assist a probation officer that was performing a home search. The probation officer allegedly discovered an off-white crystal-like substance inside a zip-close bag that had been inside a black cloth bag.
The search was stopped, and police were able to secure a search warrant.
In addition, Boger has a separate case in DeKalb County that is supposed to go to trial in August.
In the DeKalb County case, Boger has been charged with felony counts of dealing in methamphetamine, theft of a firearm, and resisting law enforcement-defendant draws a weapon.
Boger is also scheduled to go to trail in Allen County on February 19 and 20 on felony charges of dealing in methamphetamine, and resisting law enforcement-defendant operates a vehicle, along with misdemeanor charges of resisting law enforcement and criminal mischief.
