
(STURGIS) – St. Joseph County United Way Executive Director Kelly Hostetler received a special honor Thursday.
During their regular meeting, the Sturgis Exchange Club named Hostetler as the winner of their 2025 Book Of Golden Deeds Award. This recognition has been given out every year since 1940. The honoree is recognized for giving back to their community.
One of the people who spoke during the ceremony was St. Joseph County District Court Judge Jeffrey Middleton. He says Hostetler is always there when called upon to help with a need. LINKC.
St. Joseph County Emergency Manager Erin Goff shared that Hostetler has a very special ability. LINKD.
Joe Haas also spoke about Hostetler. He was one of the individuals that hired her to become the Executive Director of the United Way and said she was the best choice they could have made.
Hostetler shared with the audience that she was overwhelmed by receiving this award, and thanked her staff and her board members for allowing her to able to do what she does.
