
(STURGIS) – The Sturgis City Commission will be looking to replace one of their members.
During Wednesday’s regular meeting, Second Precinct Commissioner Rodger Moyer made the following announcement. LINKC.
Moyer is moving from the Second Precinct to a house in the First Precinct. He had previously told the Commission that this move would be happening at some point.
Moyer was elected to the City Commission in the November 2024 General Election, defeating incumbent Commissioner Emmanuel Nieves 27-10.
Sturgis City Clerk Ken Rhodes explains how the City will go about finding someone to fill Moyer’s position. LINKD.
Rhodes says his recommendation would be after the interviews, to appoint someone during the Commission’s second meeting in May.
