The building is located at 2500 North Ventura Lane, just off of County Road 200 North.
Once it’s renovated, the building will house the LaGrange County EDC, the LaGrange County Chamber of Commerce, a meeting center that can be used by the community and a child care center.
Johnston shared that other organizations have also pledged money towards the project which has an overall price tag of $4.6 million. LINKD.
The Major Moves funds are contingent on the money from the Ready Grant being approved.
Johnston says if funding from the Ready Grant comes through, they hope to start the renovations later this year, and then be in their new facility by the Fall of 2026.
