Bronson softball sweeps DH, wins Big 8 Championship
(BRONSON) – The Bronson softball team swept a Big 8 double header from Concord 15-0 and 23-0. Ashlynn Harris threw a no hitter in game one, going 3 innings, striking out 8 and walking one. Madison Shaw was the winning pitcher in game two, going 4 innings and giving up just 3 hits and striking out 6. At the plate, Lydia Wells went 5 for 5 with a homer and 3 doubles and 7 RBI. Kailynne Scare was 2 for 3 with 4 RBI and Braelynn Gimenez had 3 RBI. Bronson improves to 22-9 overall and 14-9 in the Big 8, winning the Conference Championship.
