(BRONSON) – A former member of the Bronson girls basketball team will now lead the program. The Bronson Athletic Department has announced they have hired Annie McGuire to be the new Varsity girls basketball coach. She takes over for Tony Laskey, who retired at the end of the 2024-2025 season. McGuire says she is excited and humbled to return to her old gym stomping grounds to coach. She says Bronson athletics taught her a lot about what it means to have grit and integrity. McGuire says her hope is to continue to lead young women towards being the best versions of themselves, and winning some games along the way will be an added benefit.
