(LAGRANGE) – Sealed bids were opened that were submitted for a road project in LaGrange County.
Monday morning, LaGrange County Highway Engineer Tharon Morgan started off by going over the project for the LaGrange County Commission. LINKC.
Morgan then opened the bids and shared them with the Commissioners. API submitted a bid of $5,312,414. Brooks was at $4,838,005. EMB Paving had a bid of $5,972,910, while Niblock Excavating was at $4,717,606.20. Phend and Brown submitted a bid of $4,818,440.25.
Morgan then makes a request to the Commission. LINKD.
The Commissioners unanimously approved Morgan’s request.
Morgan says the project is partially matched with Community Crossings 2025-1 Grants. The work will be done in 2026.
