(CENTREVILLE) – Centreville will have a new varsity football coach for the 2024 season. Last week, Jerry Schultz announced that he was stepping down as the Centreville coach to become the new head football coach at Mattawan. Schultz spoke to Swick Broadcasting and explains how this came about. LINKC.
Schultz says this was a tough decision for him, and even tougher telling the team. LINKD. During his four years as head coach, Schultz’s teams have put a 29-12 overall record, and a 17-1 mark in the Southwest 10. The 2020 Centreville team won the Division 8 State Championship with an 11-0 record.
