(CONCORD) – A 42 point second quarter helped Mendon pick up a road win in 8 Man Football over Concord 84-20 in an SCAA non divisional game. The Hornets rushed for 571 yards on the night, as part of 575 of total offense. Owen Gorham paced the ground game with 12 carries for 303 yards and 5 touchdowns. Ryder Gorham had 2 carries for 68 yards and a touchdown. J.T. Lux added 8 carries for 75 yards and a score while Xavier Zinsmaster had 4 carries for 79 yards and 3 TD’s. Owen Gorham led the defense with 9 tackles. Grant Crotser, Alex Zagon and Ryder Gorham each had 7 tackles. Mendon improves to 3-0, while Concord is now 2-1.
