(STURGIS) – Sturgis was the host sight for the 2025 St. Joseph County Volleyball Tournament, and the Lady Trojans went 2-2 on the night. Sturgis beat Centreville, lost to eventual tournament champion and then beat Colon. Then in the semifinals Sturgis lost to Three Rivers. Coach Brian Jordan says his team played okay, but needs to make some adjustments to get ready for conference play. Angela Cary led Sturgis with 21 kills. Cora Phillips had 13 kills and Myah Burkey had 11 kills. Chloe Patrick had 23 assists for the Lady Trojans while Riely West had 21 assists.
