(BRONSON) - The Sturgis wrestling team went 2-3 at the Bronson Clark Walker Invitational, finishing fourth on the day. Sturgis lost to Leslie (53-29), beat Coldwater (51-30) and Centreville (54-19), lost to host Bronson (42-36) and Constantine (42-34). Coach Brad Barkby says the Trojans wrestled a little sluggish and gave up some pins with one second left on the clock. Going 5-0 for the Trojans were Jouse Galvan (132), Cooper Barkby (120) and Easton Barkby (132) while Richie Scott (106) and Alex Valdez (175) both went 4-1.
