(BRONSON) - The City of Bronson has officially lifted the "Run Water Advisory" for all municipal water customers effective immediately.
The advisory, which was originally issued on January 22 and extended until February 2 due to a prolonged stretch of extreme cold, was issued asking residents and business owners to run a continuous stream of water to help prevent frozen water service lines.
Bronson City Manager Brandon Mersman says the advisory is being rescinded as local temperatures have improved and the risk of service line freezing has subsided.
Mersman says the City wants to thank its residents for their cooperation and patience during this recent cold spell. He says with temperatures now stabilizing, the immediate threat to water service lines is no longer a factor.
If anyone has questions regarding billing adjustments or water service, please contact the City Office at 517-369-7334. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8 AM until 5 PM.
