(CALIFORNIA TOWNSHIP) - Minor injuries were reported in a one vehicle accident that happened in southern Branch County.
The Branch County Sheriff's Office says deputies were called to a one vehicle accident in the 700 block of South Ray Quincy Road, north of Copeland Road around 5 PM Monday.
The preliminary investigation revealed that a 48 year old Fort Waye woman was traveling north on Ray Quincy Road, when she left the roadway, striking a utility pole and snapping it in half.
The woman was taken to Cameron Health in Angola by Life Care Ambulance to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. It's believed she may have suffered a medical problem prior to the accident.
