No. 1 Mendon downs No. 3 Ubly in D-4 volleyball semis
(BATTLE CREEK) - The Mendon volleyball team has one last match to play in the 2025 season and it's in the Division 4 State Finals. The No. 1 Lady Hornets got to the finals after beating No. 3 Ubly 3-0 in their semifinal match Thursday at Kellogg Arena. Karyssa Holtz had 40 assists and 6 digs for Mendon. Gracie Schultz added 18 kills and 14 digs while Jadyn Samson had 23 digs. Cienna Nightingale added 6 kills and 15 digs and Lashell Blair had 10 kills. Mendon will take on No. 2 Fowler in the Division 4 Finals on Saturday, after Fowler beat No. 5 Crystal Falls Forest Park 3-2 in their semifinal match.
