(COLON) - It was a good day for the Colon track teams as they hosted their annual Dale Shook Invitational. For the girls. Matilyn Cunningham took first in the 400 meters. Lily Preston won the long jump. Braelyn Thaxton won the 100 meter hurdles and was part of the second place 400 meter relay team. Piper Groff was second in the discus and third in the shot put. Belle Noga was third in the 800 meters. For the boys, Lane Preston was second in the long jump and fourth in the 200 meters. The 400 meter relay team came in third. Jabari Falls finished second in the discus and third in the shot put Jeremiah West was third in both the pole vault and the long jump.
