(LAGRANGE) - Lakeland School Corporation is proud to announce the Valedictorians for the Class of 2026.
This year's Valedictorians are Hayden Phillips, Shakthi Ramaschandran, Noah Tropp, Lana Vankoevering and Kabella Watkins. This group of exceptional students are being recognized due to their academic achievements, leadership and commitment to excellence that have distinguished them among their peers.
Each of these students has demonstrated outstanding academic performance throughout their high school careers, earning top honors while also contributing to the school community through leadership roles, extracurricular involvement, and service.
Lakeland High School Principal Jason Schackow says they are extremely proud of the Valedictorians from the Class of 2026. He says their dedication, determination and pursuit of excellence have created an inspiring standard for the entire school community. Schackow says this achievement highlights not only their academic success, but also their leadership, integrity and resilience. He says Lakeland commends their accomplishments and are excited to see all they will go on to achieve in the years ahead to make the community proud.
Lakeland's graduation ceremony will take place on Sunday, June 7 from 2 PM until 4 PM in the Farmers State Bank Gymnasium at Lakeland Jr/Sr High School.
