(COLDWATER TOWNSHIP) - A drug raid resulted in the arrest of a Coldwater Township man.

The Michigan State Police Marijuana Tobacco Investigation Section executed a search warrant Thursday at 133 North Centennial Road and found an alleged massive black market hash oil laboratory.

During the search officers seized approximately 380 pounds of usable marijuana and 14 mason jars that had marijuana wax.

Investigators arrested 51 year old Richard Daniel Hernandez, after they determined he had almost 600 times the legal limit that was allowed for individuals that didn't have medical marijuana cards.

Hernandez was arraigned Friday in Branch County District Court on a felony charge of delivery and manufacture of over 45 kilograms of marijuana. The Court also said that Hernandez is being charged as a fourth offense habitual offender, due to is criminal history that goes back to 1992 and prior felony convictions.

Bond was set at $75,000. If Hernandez is able to post bond, he must submit to random drug screenings and must not possess or consume marijuana or controlled substances.

Hernandez is scheduled to have a pre-trail conference on May 19 and a preliminary examination on May 26.
