Three Rivers boys track team second at D-2 Regional
(STURGIS) - It was a good day for the Three Rivers boys track team as they finished second in their portion of the Division 2 Regional at Sturgis. Carter Rice came in second in the 110 meter hurdles and fourth in the 300 meter hurdles, and qualifies for the State Meet in both events. DJ Fuller came in third in the 110 meter hurdles and will move on to the State Meet, along with David Wills who was third in the high jump. Blake Stewart was third in the 200 meters and heads to the State Meet. Peyton Muzzey was sixth in the 200 meters and also heads to the State Meet. Additionally, the 400 meter relay team of Blake Stewart, Peyton Muzzey, Elijah Craig and Canady Marzett came in third and will move on to the State Meet. They also make up the 800 meter relay team and finished third and head to the State Meet. The 3200 meter relay team of Charlie Brauer, Jonah Zietlow, Troyer Serna and David Kore came in second and will head to the State Finals.
Three Rivers girls finish ninth at Track Regional
(STURGIS) - The Three Rivers girls track team came in ninth at the Division 2 Regional meet at Sturgis. Moving on to the State Meet is Olivia Wenzel who was second in the police vault, and Reagen Wenzel who finished third in the pole vault. Braylee Burg finished third in the discus and will move to the State Finals. The Three Rivers 400 meter relay team of Lily Kane, Na-ki Austin, Raegan Wenzel and Olivia Wenzel came in fourth and advance to the State Meet.
