(CENTREVILLE) - Everything seems to going well for the Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency.

During last week's meeting the St. Joseph County Commission heard the CHA's annual report. Health Officer Rebecca Burns says the CHA continues to be a fiscally responsible organization.

Burns says that in the 2025 Fiscal Year, revenues were better than expenses and the CHA woks very hard to be fiscally responsible and use the precious dollars that come their way to support the most people with the very best programs.

Burns also gave an update on their building in Three Rivers that was damaged during the March 6 tornado. Burns says the 1110 Hill Street facility is still closed. The CHA found space in a strip mall behind Wendy's on U.S. 131 and are able to offer services there. Burns says for awhile the CHA was operating their environmental health department in the front lobby of the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services building. (LISTEN ABOVE).

Burns says they have a roof on their building. She says they are waiting to hear back from some contractors so they can move forward with more work.
