(UNDATED) - Voters will see some contested State and Federal races on the August Primary Ballot in St. Joseph County.
In the race for the Republican nomination for 36th District State Representative, incumbent Steve Carra is facing a challenge from Luke Lori and Max Coon.
On the Democratic side of the ballot, Cole Slaski is running unopposed for his party's nomination for State Representative.
Incumbent Jonathan Lindsey is running unopposed for the Republican nomination for the 17th District State Senate seat.
There are three Democratic candidates vying for the nomination to run against Lindsey. They are Ashleigh Baker, Mike D. Jones and Brett Muchow.
In the race for the Republican nomination for Governor, Perry Johnson is running against John James. Mike Cox and Aric Nesbitt, who have both dropped out of the Republican race, will still have their names on the ballot.
The candidates seeking the Democratic nomination for Governor are Jocelyn Benson and Christopher Robert Swanson.
There are two candidates seeking the Democratic nomination to run for the open U.S. Senate seat. They are Haley Stevens and Abdul El-Sayed. Mallory McMorrow, who suspended her campaign, will also appear on the ballot.
The winner will face Mike Rogers in the November General Election. Rogers is running unopposed for the Republican nomination.
