(COLDWATER) - A member of the Southern Michigan Bank & Trust team has received a promotion.
John Waldron, President and Chief Executive Officer of Southern Michigan Bank & Trust, has announced the promotion of Kevin Twardy to Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
Twardy joined Southern Michigan Bank & Trust in 2023 as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to that, he served as Chief Financial Officer for Commercial National Financial Corporation in Ithaca, Michigan. Twardy also brings extensive financial services experience, beginning his career as a financial institution auditor with Ernst & Young before serving nearly three decades as Chief Financial Officer for several successful Michigan community banks.
Waldron says Kevin has made a significant impact in a relatively short time. He says Twardy's financial expertise, strategic insight, and commitment to the organization have strengthened Southern Michigan's leadership team and positioned the bank for continued growth.
