Sturgis volleyball in action at Cereal City Invitational

(PENNFIELD) – The Sturgis volleyball team was in action Saturday at the Cereal City Invitational, finishing second in pool play where they tied Coldwater, and Hopkins and then beat B.C. St. Philip. Then in bracket play, Sturgis lost to host Pennfield (25-21, 26-24). Riley West had 29 assists on the day for the Lady Trojans. Cora Phillips had 15 kills and 19 digs while Kendall Oxender had 13 kills and 6 digs. Madelyn Oswald added 12 kills.
