(COLON) - Colon won their home and season opener as the Lady Magi beat Will Carleton Academy 50-25. Coach Beth Preston says she really liked Colon's intensity out of the gate and how her team's defense got tough in the fourth quarter. Raegan Thaxton led Colon with 14 points, 9 rebounds and 4 steals. Lily Preston had 14 points while Braelyn Thaxton had 8 points, 7 rebounds and 4 steals.
