(HOMER) - The White Pigeon volleyball team finished third at the Homer Nikki Blatter Invitational. The Lady Chiefs went 5-1 in pool play, finishing in first place and with the overall second seed. They then lost to host Homer in the semifinals. Kate Montandon had 69 assists, 6 aces and 8 digs on the day. Kadance Smith added 31 kills and 2 aces, while Ari Black had 21 kills and 7 digs. Riley Richardson chipped in with 19 kills, 9 aces and 8 digs and Addison Smith had 66 digs and 13 aces. Smith and Montandon were named to the All Tournament Team.
