(NEWBERG TOWNSHIP) - A crash in Southwest Michigan injured one person.
The Cass County Sheriff's Office says at 2 AM Saturday, 38 year old Gayland Campbell of Marcellus was driving north on Savage Road at Bald Hill Street in Newberg Township, when he lost control of his vehicle, went off the road and struck a tree.
A passenger in the vehicle, 48 year old Paul Smith of Marcellus, was taken to Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo to be treated for his injuries.
The Newberg Fire Department, Newberg Ambulance and SEPSA Ambulance all assisted at the scene.
