(LAGRANGE) - LaGrange County Council approved the 2020 budget Tuesday morning with one minor change.
Council members agreed to a request from the County Surveyor to put a new pickup truck back into his budget for next year. It would be paid for from the Surveyor’s section corner perpetuation fund.
The grand total of all county budgets is $31.9 million. It includes a 4% pay increase for all full-time and part-time county employees.
The Council authorized Building Department Supervisor Jason Boggs to replace an employee who is leaving.
It also authorized Sheriff Jeff Campos to replace one of the boilers at the jail for a cost of just under $55,000. The replacement will be paid from the prisoner reimbursement fund at the jail.
