(STURGIS) – Wednesday was a special night for some Sturgis area children.

The Sturgis Noon Kiwanis Club and the Sturgis Elks Club held their annual Boots and Shoes event at St. John's Episcopal Church and Willer's Shoes. Sturgis Kiwanian Michael Caywood explains how the evening goes for the kids. LINKC.

The children were recommended for Boots and Shoes by their teachers in the Sturgis Public Schools. The Sturgis Key Club also helped out both locations.
