(COLDWATER) – Two Branch County offices will be closed until further notice.
Branch County officials say the Register of Deeds office is closing after someone came into the office who had received a positive test for COVID-19. If anyone has business with the Register of Deeds Office, they can go on line to the Branch County Website. LINKA. Then go to the Register of Deeds link.
In addition, the Branch County District Court Office located on the second floor of the County Courthouse is also going to be closed until further notice, after three employees had positive test results for the coronavirus. The three individuals have been in quarantine since last week, after they had contact with an individual who had tested positive for COVID-19.
County officials are not sure how court hearings will be handled for the next several weeks. Once they decide how to proceed, they will announce that to the public.
