(COLDWATER) – Three charges of second degree criminal sexual conduct have been brought against a 76 year old man.
Branch County District Court officials say Howard Marske was arraigned on the charges, following an investigation conducted by the Branch County Sheriff’s Office.
In late January, Deputies were sent to ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital where they talked to the alleged victim, a girl under the age of 13, and her mother. The girl couldn’t remember when she was first assaulted by Marske, but the most recent incident had been on January 27.
Marske plead not guilty at his arraignment. Bond was set at $25,000.
If he is able to post a bond, Marske was ordered to not have any contact with the girl. He is scheduled to have a probable cause hearing on March 21 and then a preliminary hearing on March 26.
