(STURGIS) – Tuesday was a very special evening for some Sturgis Public Schools children.
Tuesday evening the annual Holiday Boots and Shoes Event was held by the Sturgis Kiwanis Club and the Sturgis Elks at the The Sturges-Young Center for the Arts.
Natalie Boland of the Sturgis Elks Club explains how they get the names of the children that will be attending the event. LINKC.
Boland says there are five stations set up for the children to stop at during their visit. LINKD.
The Sturgis High School Key Club also volunteered at Boots and Shoes, making sure the kids got everything they were supposed to.
