(CENTREVILLE) – Several road projects are planned for St. Joseph County this summer.
St. Joseph County Road Commission Manager John Lindsey says work will start Monday to pave Bennett Road in Colon and Leonidas Townships.
In addition, chip sealing season will also get underway on Monday. The work will be on Witt Lake Road in Burr Oak Township, Spring Creek Road in Nottawa Township, Lepley and Hodges Roads in Colon Township along with Anderson Road in Mottville Township.
The schedule is subject to change due to equipment operations or weather conditions.
Lindsey says that the first round of dust control has started on select gravel routes and the season’s first round of roadside mowing has also begun.
