(STURGIS) – If you would like to know more about a proposed capital improvement plan for Sturgis Public Schools, then Thursday is your chance.

Sturgis Superintendent Dr. Art Ebert will be holding an informational session this Thursday afternoon. It will be a time for Ebert to share how this process started last Fall, and how the School District came to be in support of a building and site sinking fund proposal.

After speaking to members of the community and school faculty and staff, the School District is looking at a 10 year, 1.75 mill building and site sinking fund request to bring to the voters in May.

Thursday's informational session will be held at Five Lakes Coffee in downtown Sturgis, starting at 5 PM.
