(BRONSON TOWNSHIP) – A three vehicle crash sent two people to the hospital.
Branch County Sheriff John Pollack says his department was called to investigate a crash just after 4 PM Thursday on U.S. 12 east of McMahon Drive in Bronson Township.
Deputies determined that Widly Francois of Goshen, Indiana was driving east on U.S. 12 and hit the back of an automobile driven by Kenneth Doyle of Bronson. Francois then moved into the westbound lane, and struck a vehicle driven by Tracy Brannon of Sturgis.
Deputies say Francois had injuries to his head and chest, while Brannon had injuries to her face, her left leg and left arm. They were both initially treated at the scene by the Bronson Fire Department and Life Care Ambulance, then transported to ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital for more treatment.
Assisting at the scene were the Bronson Police and Fire Departments and the Branch County Sheriff’s Office Victim Services Unit. The matter is still under investigation.
