(STURGIS) – The Sturgis Department of Public Safety is adding another ambulance to their fleet.
During a recent Sturgis City Commission meeting, DPS Director Ryan Banaszak explains what kind of ambulance they want to purchase. LINKC.

Banaszak says the new vehicle would be the first one out on a call. The current number one ambulance would shift to the second one out. The current second ambulance would then be kept to be used in case one of the other two has an issue, or to could be used to transfer patients or to be loaned out to another company.
The Commission voted unanimously to approve the purchase. Banaszak says delivery will be in June 2025.
