(STURGIS) – The Sturgis girls cross country team finished first in their portion of the 60th annual Kiwanis Invitational. Bronson was third, Quincy sixth, Coldwater ninth and White Pigeon tenth. Berkley Holtz of Sturgis was first overall on the day (18:45). Bronson’s Ava Hathaway was third (19:32); Gweneth Eby of Coldwater was tenth (20:59) while Kendyl Musielewicz of Quincy was 11th (21:16), and Rachel Schelstraete of White Pigeon was 45th (24:11). Constantine didn’t have enough runners to qualify for a team score but Payton Featherstone was 57th (25:18) individually.
