(THREE RIVERS) – A member of the Centreville golf team is moving on to the Division 4 State Finals. Andrew Cropsey of Centreville finished third as an individual qualifier with a round of 90. Also advancing as an individual is Marcellus' Ethan Borger who was second as an individual and shot an 88. Kalamazoo Hackett finished first overall in the team category with a round of 306. Kalamazoo Christian was second with a 328 while Bridgman shot 394 and finished third. They all advance to the State Finals. Climax-Scotts was fourth (394); Colon finished fifth (400); Marcellus was sixth (401), and Cassopolis was seventh (402). Burr Oak, Centreville, White Pigeon and Howardsville Christian had individuals golfing as none had enough players for a team. Burr Oak was led by Flavio Hernandez with a 91. Luke Gropp of White Pigeon shot a 94 while Carter Grandlinard of Howardsville Christian shot a 128.
