(EMMA) — The late second period goal was the only score of the game, and it gave the Westview boys soccer team a 1-0 win over Bethany Christian and a Sectional championship on their home field. The 2021 Sectional finals was a repeat of the 2020 Final Game, with Westview facing Bethany Christian once again and getting the win, as they did last year. Teague Misner scored the game winner for Westview, giving them a record of 13-5 and a date in the Regional semifinals. Bethany Christian ends the season at 7-10. Westview will host Caston (9-6-1) in that Semifinal game on Thursday. Caston beat Winamac 1-0 to win their Sectional Championship.
