(WHITE PIGEON) – The Centreville volleyball team went 6-0 on the day and won the Southwest 10 Tournament Championship. The Lady Bulldogs beat Comstock, Decatur, Marcellus and Bloomingdale, then Mendon in the semi-finals before beating Cassopolis in the championship match 2-0 (25-13, 25-22). All of the games started with a 4-4 score to speed up play on the day. Sara Stauffer had 48 kills and 45 digs for the Lady Bulldogs. Maylean Younts added 50 assists and 7 aces while Bella Kessler had 31 kills, 41 digs and 10 aces. Morgan Swanwick had 43 assists and 13 digs on the day. Sabrina Spence had 9 kills and 10 blocks.
