(LIGONIER) – Some area teams and individuals are advancing to the IHSAA Cross Country Semi-states after strong finishes at the IHSAA Regional meet, hosted by West Noble. In the Girls Regional, East Noble finished second and will move on the Semi-states. Angola finished sixth and Fremont tenth. Advancing as individuals to the semi-states are Morgan Gannon of Fremont; Gracynn Hinkley and Jordan Davenport of Angola; Lydia Bennett and Abby DeTray of DeKalb along with Nataley Armstrong of Garrett. In the boys race, Angola finished fifth and moves on to the semi-states. Westview finished ninth and Churubusco was tenth. Advancing as individuals to the semi-states are Hank Glasgo of Prairie Heights, Grant Flora of West Noble and Carter Van Gessel of DeKalb. The semi-state meet will be hosted by New Haven.
