
(JACKSON) – The Sturgis varsity boys and girls bowling teams was in action at the Mel Wolf Open. The Sturgis boys finished 9th in the qualifying round, just missing out on advancing with a team score of 2395. Christian Quirin had a two game series of 348 to lead the Trojans. The high game went to Caleb Henson-Bolen with a 190. The Lady Trojans also finished the qualifying round 9tha and just missed moving on. The Sturgis girls finished with a 1944 qualifying score. They rolled a 761 game which is a season high for the Lady Trojans. Lydia Boland shot a 324 series and had a season high 211 game. Kaitlin Matz shot a 318 series with a career high 183 game.
