Prairie Heights wins NECC Wrestling Tournament

(LAGRANGE) – The Prairie Heights wrestling team won the NECC Tournament, beating Garrett 275-269. Angola finished third (172), followed by Fremont (155.5), Lakeland (151.5), Central Noble (111), Churubusco (108), West Noble (103.5), Fairfield (97), Eastside (94) and Westview (45). The Panthers had three wrestlers win individual championships on the day. Brock Hagewood was champion at 132 pounds. Luke Severe won the 160 pound championship and Hunter Allen was the 220 pound champion. Lakeland's Ben Miller won the 145 pound championship. Fremont had a champion with Jacob Behm was champion at 195 pounds. Angola had three champions on the day: Kameron Straw at 106, Isaiah McCue at 126 and Brandon Villafuerte at 285.
