Mendon gets road win over Fennville 44-8
(FENNVILLE) – Mendon went on the road and picked up a Southwestern Michigan 8 Man Football League win over Fennville 44-8. The Hornets rushed for 306 yards on the night, led by Jack McCaw who had 15 carries for 131 yards and a score. Luke Schinker was 2 of 9 passing for 88 yards, a touchdown and an interceptions. Schinker had 6 carries for 53 yards and 2 scores while Evan Lukeman had 16 carries for 98 yards and 2 touchdowns. Nic Stiver led the Mendon defense with 7 tackles. Nathan Vergauwen and Grant Crotser each had 5 tackles. Mendon improves to 4-2 overall and 3-1 in the League. Fennville falls to 3-3 and 2-3 in the league standings.
